Goldwin Play Earth Fund（GW-PEF）, managed by Goldwin Venture Partners, is pleased to announce its investment in Resortecs（Headquarters: Brussels, Belgium ; CEO Cédric Vanhoeck）, a textile-tech company providing design-for-disassembly technologies and waste management solutions that make textile recycling easier.

Today, less than 1% of all clothing produced globally is recycled into new textiles, mainly due to the economic and technical difficulty of disassembling garments. Resortecs addresses this challenge with its patented “Smart Stitch™” heat-dissolvable thread and “Smart Disassembly™” system, which enable efficient material separation from end-of-life garments. Resortecs aims to build an industrial pre-processing infrastructure across Europe to accelerate the transition toward a truly circular fashion ecosystem.

GW-PEF decided to invest in Resortecs for its technological leadership and contribution to building Europe’s circular apparel infrastructure. Through this investment, Goldwin seeks to bring Europe’s emerging design-for-disassembly principles and promote the realization of a circular society including in Japan and Asia.
