Shiyo starts his professional career at Japanese private think-tank. He conducted research projects including Innovation Policy and financing, and Science＆Technology policy. At the same time, he has advised private companies on the establishment and operation of corporate venture capital funds.
After joining the Venture Capital industry, he maintains a strong interest in science and technology and its commercialisation.
He officially joined Goldwin Venture Partners(GVP) in 2025 and has been leading its investment activities ever since. At the GVP, He is active in cross-border deals and Deeptech & Material space. He has been appointed CEO of GVP with effect from 2026.
Shiyo holds master’s degree in technology management.

Yumi joined Goldwin Inc. in 2013, working across marketing, communications, and creative initiatives for several of the company’s original brands. She also helped launch the distribution business for an emerging startup brand. Now at Goldwin Venture Partners, she focuses on startup investment and strategic collaboration, connecting new technologies and ideas with Goldwin’s business priorities to create meaningful commercial value. By bringing together people, expertise, and opportunities across organizational boundaries, she works to turn partnerships into new business. Her ambition is to carry forward Goldwin’s belief in the value of time spent in nature and help make apparel a leading industry in advancing circularity.

Monika started her career on GE's Financial Management Programme, a globally competitive rotational programme spanning finance and strategy, before transitioning into M&A supporting cross-border transactions and divestitures across the GE Energy portfolio. She subsequently served as CFO at a behavioural AI startup in automotive and at a agentic AI ecommerce venture. She joined Goldwin Inc. in April 2026. At the Play Earth Fund, she is active in next-generation materials, supply chain innovation, circular economy solutions, and experience-based businesses. Passionate about startups, she brings hands-on operational and financial experience to the founders she partners with.
