Goldwin Play Earth Fund (hereafter “GW-PEF”), co-managed by Goldwin Venture Partners Inc. (hereafter “GVP”) and Ignition Point Venture Partners Inc. (hereafter “IGP-VP”), is pleased to announce that it has made an investment to Dimpora AG (Headquarters: Zurich, Switzerland; Co-Founders: Dr. Mario Stucki and Dr. Anna Beltzung; hereafter “Dimpora”), which develop a Waterproof, breathable & PFAS-free membranes and laminates.
Dimpora is an award-winning* Swiss company delivering transformative membrane solutions that combine exceptional performance, sustainability and customization.Dimpora develops the dimpora® products series, which are non-toxic, waterproof, breathable, PFAS-free, and fully porous membranes. The underlying technology was created using the results of the founder's research at ETH Zurich.
GW-PEF decided to invest in Dimpora upon recognizing the excellence of the company with its technology to drive circularity and sustainability required in the apparel/fashion industry, as well as the high quality of its products. This investment is an opportunity to promote collaboration between Dimpora and Goldwin Inc. to accelerate our efforts to build PFAS-Free, high-performance technical garments.
Goldwin complies with PFAS regulations and pursues both the high performance and sustainability required for the outdoors. Goldwin Tech-Lab in Toyama has started working together with Dimpora to develop the technical fabrics for the next generation.
