Shiyo Takeoka
Shiyo starts his professional career at Japanese private think-tank. He conducted research projects including Innovation Policy and financing, and Science&Technology policy. After joining the Venture Capital industry, he maintains a strong interest in science and technology and its commercialisation. At the Play Earth Fund, He is active in cross-border deals and Deeptech & Material space. Shiyo holds master’s degree in technology management.
Tatsuya Oyama
Tatsuya started his professional carrier at a national research institute.After working for a Japanese consulting firm, he joined Ignition Point. As a senior consultant, he was involved in launching new businesses and promoting accelerator programs before taking on my current role. At Play Earth Fund, he hopes to create a world where people can live abundantly with peace of mind through investments and business co-creation in areas such as materials, lifestyle, sports, and retail. He loves Brazilian jiu-jitsu and playing the guitar.
Takumi Yagawa
Takumi joined Goldwin Inc. in 2022 as a new graduate. After experiencing cross-brand corporate marketing operations, He joined the Corporate Planning Department. In 2024, Assigned to Goldwin Venture Partners Inc. At the Play Earth Fund, He would like to promote services/technologies that provide new customer experience value through investment and collaboration, and businesses that lead to the conservation of nature.
Yoshinori Kimoto
Belongs to the Business Development Group, Corporate Planning Dept, Goldwin Inc. After joining Goldwin, worked for sales of outdoor brands such as THE NORTH FACE/HELLY HANSEN, and then had responsibility for business management in the Corporate Planning Dept. Participating in CVC activities since the launch of Play Earth Fund. Areas of particular interest for the Play Earth Fund include exploring technologies and services that contribute to the realization of a sustainable global environment for the next generation and promoting innovative business and product development through collaboration with Goldwin.
Yumi Ito
Joined Goldwin Inc. in 2013 and worked in original brand marketing before being transferred to Goldwin Venture Partners in the spring of 2024. Her previous interest and her most recent experience with start-up company led her to pivot to CVC. She wants to support a wide range of businesses that contribute to solving environmental and social issues, incorporating a female point of view. And she considers investments from a wide range of perspectives, from everyday life to world-changing scales. She believes in the benefits and value of “playing with the earth”.
